elephants!

The African elephant
The African elephant is one major species of elephants; one of the other major species is the Indian elephant. These huge mammals are herbivores’ which means they eat only plants with their huge flat teeth. Since elephants have no hands they use their trunks. Elephants are the only known spices that have trunks, trunks are used to eat, drink, and breathe. To breath, the elephants have two nostril holes on the end of their trunks. On their trunks they have two tusks; tusks are used in fights as a weapon against their rival (s). Elephants are very protective of their young much like humans; they travel in heards so if there is a predator there can be more protection for their calves . Calves are baby elephants. Did you know that when calves are born they weigh something around 200 pounds, that is more than most human adults! Female elephants carry their young for 22 months that is very different from human females which carry their young for 9 months. Calves can be born  200 pounds which is more than most adult humans! Here are some groups that elephants are classified in 1. (Mammals) because they born live young, 2. (Herbivores) because they eat only plants, 3. (Biggest known earth animals) they can be 8-10 feet tall and can weigh roughly in at 6 tons!

Easter

Easter is a time of family, joy, and CANDY!  Easter may mean many different things to many different people. you may believe that Easter is a time when Jesus rose from the dead. Or, a special day when the Easter bunny comes at the break of dawn and puts a big basket full of candy on your porch. Maybe it’s just a usual Sunday and you can watch the Easter parade but, overall, it means nothing, to you. But to me oh, it’s special; I and my family have a big feast with a spiral ham spewing out juice, and a big bowl of peas, with a side of warm corn pudding. But, Food is not what makes the Sunday.  Easter is much more than just food it is a time of joy when you can spend pure life with your family and rejoice for what you have. Because some people don’t have a house, or, food but most of all Family. Family is the most precious thing on earth they are there for you 247 and you should appreciate that. That’s all I wanted to say, but try and remember those two little last sentences or try to think about them and then think about how it makes you feel.

"Gatti town eat up the fun !"

Ding, cling, and WA-bang went the games blaring from the back of Gatti Town. Gatti Town is a restaurant and arcade all in one. In the front of the restaurant there is a buffet and two eating areas. On the buffet there is pizza, desserts, and salad there are also cheesy breads and pasta with different   sauces. One eating area is for kids and families in the area they show movies rated G and PG. IN the other area for parents and adults they watch sport shows like ESPN and, ect. In the back of the restaurant there is the arcade where you can play games like skeeball, basketball, and reality TV shows. The cost for 2 year olds and younger is free, 3-4 years old is 3.99 , 5- 8 years old is 5.99, 9-12 years old is 6.99, 13-59 year old people is 7.99,and 60 +  is 6.99.
This is a few reasons why I like Gatti town I like Gatti town because of the cool games for instant “Deal or no Deal,” “Fruit Ninja,” and Bumper cars. I also like the Desserts on the buffet line some desserts are cinnamon buns, chocolate crème, cinnamon sticks, and apple dumplings. One last reason I like Gatti town is because of the very kind employees’ if you like great surface and need a good job this is for you!

Here are some reasons I dislike Gatti Town. One is because of the junky prizes you get for over 50 tickets; it makes me mad when the strings break on the bracelets, dream catchers, and purses.  Another reason why I dislike Gatti town is because it is almost always crowed and anytime I am there I never get to sit in the kid’s movie area.  One last reason I dislike Gatti town is because of the credits needed to play each game because some games need 290,000 credits to play which is too much for my liking!
Based on my opinion I would give Gatti town 3 stars because of the prizes, credits and games!

mustaches o mustaches

Mustaches are a big fad right now in the United States.  In the us we have mustache bracelets, necklaces, rings, mints, shirts and other different mustache apparel in demand. I personally Love mustaches, mustaches are my life. One day, my grandma asked me “what is the BIG DEAL with mustaches.” I said, “I really don’t know.” so, I’m asking you people out there in the world why and what is the big deal with mustaches.  It’s up to you so comment and come back so you can see why I will then know why mustaches are a big deal.

COLOR ME RAD

Color me rad is a 5k race (which is 3. 1 miles) with a twist. At each mile, volunteers throw liquid color or chalk coloring on the runners as they pass by. The terrain is around the Commonwealth stadium on the University of Kentucky’s campus in Lexington, KY. Many people run in this race. It starts really early, so make sure you have a good night’s rest. This race is a charity event for the Ronald McDonald house.

I love this race because I love how they throw coloring at you. If you're wearing a white shirt your shirt will be a big rainbow by the time you’re finished. Another reason I like this race is because you can have fun with your friends. Remember, there is no I in team. One last reason I like this race is because of the color me rad apparel booth. At the Commonwealth stadium, a color me rad apparel booth is set up so you can look colorful from head to toe in your color me rad gear!

One reason that I dislike the race is of the price tag to join. Make sure you sign up early, or it gets very pricey $$! Another reason I don't like the race is because of the cold weather. When I ran it was very icy. I think they should melt the      ice so no one could have fallen (many people did).

I personally would give the race 4 paws because of the color apparel and because of the price and the ice! Even if you don't like to race or have never been in a race this is a very good race to do and to start off with! That is why I like and dislike the color me rad 5 k race.
